I'm a sucker. I just uploaded "She came from Memphis" to my player. It's the 3rd song. A friend, Ashley Kizer wrote it in 1996. A friend Drew Lawhorn played drums. I played bass, Wurlitzer electric piano, and sang one vocal. Pretty minimalist for me. Tender delivery on all parts imo.
Feedback is appreciated.

Great job Paul.
First impression vocally was that the hook of the song, is the smooth
flowing way you sing (How Long). This points out though that your interpretation
and the intended hook may have been different. In my opinion you sang it
very appropriately. Your elongation of notes was perfect throughout.
To me the Wurt. is the perfect instrument for this song but I would
like to of heard a Tele. also.
Nice job bud.[/b]

Thanks bro! Great to hear from YOU on this one.
A tele does sound appropriate. I'm real attached to the minimal instrumentation but I would surely be open to someone with some tele skills.

Thanks Marcel! I could not tear up SRV the way you do. We hone what we love. I have obsessed over looping for nearly a decade.
