Of course we "could" as we have plenty of resources & friends to do fine on our own.

The question to me is "should" and the answer to me is NO . . .
But a good healthy dose of F@#k you federal government we'll do it our own way.

The fact that they made a video to contemplate this question makes me proud to say Texas is bad-ass. Whatever Texas decises to act on...is gonna impact a lot... Cant say the same for smaller states like...New Hampshire

The reason I put this info here is because some people on this site (and you know who you are LOL) have from time to time said things like Texas gets more money from the feds than it pays in. I believe most people around the country are getting poor information on the State of Texas. That video is extremely accurate and I wanted to put accurate information out there so folks will understand Texas a little better. I love this state. I don't believe Texas is better than any other state. I however want folks to know the truth if they choose to watch that short video! I am surprised that most people don't know Texas was its own country for almost 10 years. That it does Snow in Texas just not in Houston. That there is more than cowboys and oil wells here.

I have long advocated secession. I want no part of that filth that comes out of DC nor their constant rape of my wallet.

But I've come to think it through a little bit and reckon it is time not for us to secede - but to kick those shitheads out of our country! Let them pay their own pentions and work for a living like the rest of us. Sorry, but I don't need a boss...

Then the states can do as they please (within the confines of the Constitution) and once again, we have depth, reduncancy and all the benefits there of.

Plus there'd be no need for taxes - we'd charge pay for view for the hangings of all the DC scum. And for all you lefties and righties - I'm talking hang the whole bunch - I don't believe in discrimination!

Hangings? Really? That isn't very entertaining. If you proposed gladatorial combat, I'd be on board.

I don't know if old, fat, perfumed , & pampered folk fighting in the arena would be all that entertaining.

We could just boil em in oil . . . but that would smell awful.

Of course it will be entertaining. Give each a kay-bar and tell them that the eventual champion will be crowned for life. Watch them kill each other off, then set a bear on the survivor, 10 minutes after crowning him or her.

...Haley ... excellent Thread. The video does not address that Texas would not and should not be the only state to do so. There are many factors involved which most point quite favourably to Texas doing so. That is why I say Texas is the Last hope ... they have the balls required and a whole lot of everything else that is required to lead others into ridding the US of political filth and the AntiHumans. Texas supplies energy to 5 of the states around it for instance. I am rather fond of Texas and Texans and I long ago grew tired of Californians. Texas has everything that it takes whilst CA has only a couple of such things and a manure wagon full of things that are not at all required. The idea of "talking" about the Constitution is laughable and stupid ... look at what has been done to negate it ... the TSA among many others. Common or Horse sense rules over a degree in California anytime in the rel world.

I have argued this point many times in coffee shops and bars in CA all the while smiling to myself knowing that if I was doing it in Texas and being as critical then there would be a fight. It saddens me to see what is being done to Texas at the moment ... as well as many other states.
