rock on....sounds like something you'd hear in the background of a college movie. Have you thought about shopping this to film/tv?

Never really shopped any of my music, I just produce it. I'm sure if it is ever used it will be after I'm long gone. Thanks for checking it out

Are you on linkedin?

I joined years ago but never checked it out. Only in the last couple of weeks did I started exploring publishers/film producers. Mostly indies but some with major production companies. Etu might want to check it out also.

Films are always looking for quirky kinds of stuff....and Bach done by a punk band would be valuable if placed right, imo.

You seem to have a large enough catalogue to get some mileage out of it.

Yeah I have a profile on LinkedIn but never really checked out anything through it, good idea. My catalog of recorded stuff is 125 songs!

Well, I'm quirky alright.
Every time I've had any involvement in filmmaking, though, something always goes wrong.

The trick is owning the copyright/masters so not all covers would be usable, but Bach is public domain and very recognizable so that would work great for film licensing.

Most of the film/TV listings don't ask for any rights, so you can submit original songs and keep ownership. That means, unlike signing with a label or publisher, you can still use it on your own albums without having to pay someone else for it.

I realize you already know that Jimmy but someone else reading the thread might not.
