Ray Price is coming to town and I would love to go see him. This music has twin fiddles! Watch the joy on these guys as they play harmony! I grew up with this music and it brings me the same joy as say the Hellion, Enter Sandman, or Trippin On A Hole!

"crazy arms" and "heartahes by the numbers"...ha, played both those two steppers this past weekend playing at the truckstop. gotta say, i do enjoy playing that stuff when ya have the dance floor packed w folks.

jeff....you absolutely should go or you'll likely be kicking yourself later if ya don't.

in my next life i'm totally coming back as a pedal steel player. right now.....lap steel is close as i get. "lap G" and C6 tunings are quite enough for me to get my little brain around, thank you very much.

Pretty good.

I had written off most modern country as pop garbage.
It felt like REAL country music died somewhere in the 70's.
Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton's "Islands In The Stream" was the final nail in the coffin IMO.

I knew this chick locally and she is related to Gene Ween, by marriage I think. I forget to be 100% honest.

I think he's really good, but she's a train wreck.

You can pick your nose, but you can't pick your relatives. lol
