So I posted some personal info about an ecom I used to be involved with on this site...

All of a sudden, I am getting thinly veiled spam/virus material that is associated.

I don't want to be too specific, as I just reported it to the powers that be and informed my isp.

There is a spam/virus entity here and it collecting your info so it can send you email that has attachments that are def not ok.

I'm doing a trace now and if they are nearby, we are going to have a little chit chat as I break that dumbfaqs skull.

I love hackers, their bones are very brittle and snap easily.
It makes it easier to get to the marrow.

The problem with that line of thinking is that the "dumbass" you claim may not have started the hacking. His computer may have been infected which in turn infected yours. These days it's impossible to tell who does what to who's computer.

Best read a little more instead of speculating.

That way you don't assume anything, Bob.

. I had somebody accuse ME of hacking. Hell, I'm a computer illiterate, I wouldn't even know how to hack if I wanted to. Turns out somebody planted a virus on my computer that was sending messages to all my email contacts. I got a bunch of people pissed off at me. Hopefully you're blaming THE offending party and not somebody innocent like I was.

Yeah but it's too much when they use info from a post one just posted 24 hours ago with SPECIFIC info.

Bob, I am a "catch and release" type of guy, unless I fully figure out what's up at any given point.

Now if I kick down your front door and I fire up your computer and you have all kinds of malware and other nastiness on your system, such as peoples' credit card info etc. I would be tempted to smash off all your fingers off in your own front door.

Actually I wouldn't be tempted - I would be doing it.

If I have to be nice to the world, you best return the favor unless it's lowest common denominator time. I can get much lower than you might think and I am not the forgiving type.

I'm also catch and release unless somebody nearby wants my catch...
