well;
after taking in the election results and listening to the spinners,
I have concluded that the republican party is officially dead.

this rather crappy little attempt at a coup orchestrated by Rupert Murdoch, fox news and the wall st journal,
ended as should have been obvious from the start.
they wanted to kill the teaparty but shot themselves instead.
the tea party may not survive either, because they have to serve out their terms as republicans,

bohner who was hired on the hobble the new republicans is all ready lining up the remainders for execution.
well, conservatism is going to be a luxury from now on.

Party names platforms and affiliations have changed positions so many times over the last two hundred years not even professional historians can accurately track them.

The only obvious trend is that the general population requires severe stresses to push them from apathy into action.

Hold on to your asses.
It's going to get ugly.

Governments do not create wealth.
A fact apparently lost to the majority of the American Public.
An economic disaster of unprecedented proportion looms.
When the artificial bubble burst ? Who knows ?
Our life time, or the next ?
The only thing certain is it will resulting starvation and civil war.

The cycle has repeated itself since the dawn of civilization.
And we are not immune simply because we mistakenly think we have "advanced" as a race.

Very interesting ...

...Thank you for your appraisal ...I find it very informative.

I can take no issue with any of it as it makes sense from what little I know and because I know very little regarding the idea of two seperate parties then it is a fresh perspective. At any rate I do agree wholeheartedly with your final statement and conclusion.

Ta Live Well Die Well

that is one possible scenario,
the most likely one one is that not much of anything will happen,
similar to the contraction of Great Briton
there will hand outs and labor riots,
there will not be a collapse because the borrowing will continue as will the bread and circuses.
the big cities will get bigger,
but no apocalypse, everyone wants apocalypse because it sounds like something new and you make movies out of it.
and you get to imagine that your Charlton Heston.

you are not serious about a Civil War? are you?.. will this be like the Civil War that was waged from 1861-1865 or will this be a Civil War involving class struggle?.. will it be para-military groups that have control of the capital assets against the brown skinned people or what?.. I suppose the filthy rich can hire mercenaries, but people making real decent money at their "jobs" won't be able to afford to go to the front lines if their income is at risk of disappearing?

There is always the risk of a civil war within any country and war between two or more countries. That's one of the reasons why aliens from another solar system haven't attempted to contact us. Homo sapiens are much too violent. As Rodney King once said "Why can't we all get along?"

I think to have a genuine Civil War like a Pompey vs. Caesar thing, would be you need some sort of institution that was so villified people would fight to right the wrong.. I don't see that here in America..

Liberal AMerica is made up of a majority of sheep, who protested the current Wars...(but only after the luster of amusemsnt wore off and CNN stopped filmimg it). What on earth makes you think that Liberal Americans have the balls, let alone the desire to fight a civil war?

why would the liberals want to fight a war when they are winning the game as it's currently played?

The war was fought with ideas, AND OUR SIDE HAD BETTER AMMUNITION :)

in this case you are absolutely right

I'm not really sure what possessed the RNC to propagandize then nominate an offshore investment banker out of a cult.
but you see what they got for their efforts

I put the "chicken curse" on the republicans.

I even used real chicken blood.

And of course every time Boehner speaks you get the feeling like someone is being actively cheated.

(You know he could never sell cars or anything for that matter. lol)
