I live in Ohio, as you may have noticed. Any day Isee any job postings, I can see listings of job openings in Texas. I do know, (at least this is what they were telling us during the primary election), that Texas has the lowest unemployment rate in the nation. I did vote in the primary for your Gov'na- Rick Santorum. It broke my heart when he didn't make it past that stage. He would've been the ultimate choice president for All this country's needs.

I believe Texas has modern day BOOM towns brought about by
the shale fracturing oil development going on there. The fracturing technique
of retrieving oil is a possible savior for our national debt problem.
American ingenuity has always pulled us out of a ditch. It will again.
If you can, imagine no energy imports and exporting LNG and oil to
other nations and enjoying the profit HERE. There are BILLIONS of
barrels of oil within our borders and now we can get to it. The natural gas
is right there with it.
The real question is, do we have a President that will encourage the expansion and development of this energy ?[/b]

Here in Ohio, (and Western Pennsylvania), is where Fracking is very promising. It has made millionaires out of mineral right land owners already. One little earthquake, and all the blame placed on the fracking put a halt in production. There are other land owners in the region that get their water from the ground that don't want it contaminated. They would think I'm greedy and self serving for being for fracking. Building the Hoover Dam was also a 2 sided Damn if you do and Damn if you don't. Little is known by most on the contributions the Hoover dam had on winning World War II. Without it, We may have been damned.
