Thanks for the update. I don't have a TV just now. (not sure if I really want one - it's not been missed)

I heard Jeter got waxed and Mariano Rivera too - not sure if the latter was in the series.

Good for Detroit! The yanks are the team I love to hate.

I'm NOT A YANKEES FAN. In fact, ever since I was handed a raw deal from the little league team I played on as kid I have not been a baseball fan.

Whatever,,, What is ,,, is.

If it makes you feel better, my father in law is in the hospital,,, just hanging on. He IS a big Yankee fan. I'm sure your well wishes will make him feel better.

You are such a little man. GFY!

Hey DUMBASS you had better hope your Marxist TYRANT wins because if Mitt Romney wins my suggestion to you would be to just LEAVE BANDMIX and NEVER return! Your pride will so envelope your Uvula just like your boyfriends JISM!

How does it feel to be the worlds smallest asshole?

I'm glad the Tigers won. It looks like they may face the Cardinals, but the Giants have some very good pitchers coming up the next few games and they are capable of a big comeback. I'm sure Jim Leyland will remind the Tigers to make more accurate throws to infielders considering the last time they were in the World Series they made beaucoup throwing errors to hand the Cardinals the Series.

I hope we play the Cardinals too Bob, I think this team is better than the 2006 team. I still remember the 1968 series against the Cardinals and can even name the players! Mickey Lolich, Jim Northrup, Willie Horton, Denny McLaine, Norm Cash...what a great team. I also remember the 1984 World Series, it seemed like every time we had a gig there was a Tiger game the same night so we often waited until the game was over to start our show.

Baseball is best watched when your drunk AT the stadium WITH beer or in the background like some bad news channel.

I actually like the highlights better, else I run the risk of falling asleep each and every game.

. I agree, they are better. I also remember 1968. The most important player on that team was Mickey Stanley who was an outfielder who replaced the Tigers shortstop when he got hurt and played great in the World Series. Mickey Lolich won three games and beat Bob Gibson in game 7 at St. Louis. I don't think anybody can beat the Tigers this year. Verlander should get two starts at least in the series.
