UN Blasphemy Laws

Another attack on our freedom of religion? For those who believe in the Living God. We are taught of a coming "One World Religion" in the last days. But first all other religions need to be eradicated. With the Anti Defamation laws of the UN being accepted by some countries, does that pave the way for a one world religion?

In December the Obama Administration pushed a UN resolution that banned criticism of Islam.

Another report suggests that all religions be protected.

http://beforeitsnews.com/global-unrest/ ... 45734.html

a portion of the article

“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims,” President Obama said.
He also took a few digs at the inconsistency in the Islamic world’s rage. He noted that the U.S. hasn’t instituted blasphemy laws against anti-Christian speech and that “the future must not belong to those who target Coptic Christians in Egypt.”
These paragraphs sound like a condemnation of all religious intolerance, but the first sentence emphasizes that it is only Islamic forces that should win the future. Anti-Christian sentiments, anti-Semitism and hostility towards Muslim minorities exist, but it is the anti-Islamic forces that we must be most concerned about. President Obama stood against Islamic blasphemy laws but justified the rationale used by Islamists around the world in implementing them.

That sounds pretty good doesn’t it? Given that we now know the truth, that the infamous You Tube video had NOTHING to do with the embassy terrorist attacks, do we have another motive for continuing to push the “Movie caused it” ploy. Can you see one?

We would have to ban every religious text worldwide that claims that their god is the only true god. Other than trying to cover his incompetent ass in the embassy debacle, is this his true motive? Do his statements and his actions have more to do with banning the Koran and the Bible than protecting religion? I believe it is more for destroying all present religions making the way clear for a one-world religion. If such a UN law were passed, that is exactly what would happen. The ungodly need not reply

:) :)

I think religions should be protected as free speech, just like Santa Claus and Easter Bunnies, but none that claims that their god is the only true god should be taken so seriously to be allowed to take part in any government.

Unless, maybe Santa Claus is going to bring us a bunch of really cool FREE STUFF for everyone!

that is why separation of church and state is guaranteed in our U.S. Constitution.. but I'm with you, get a guy like Romney in as POTUS and he will probably be adhering to a lot of his Mormon doctrine when it comes to law making and policy ..hope we are not forced into converting into Mormons in able to draw Social Security or something..

Thats just rediculous Dane! I understand you libs have to throw out rediculous statements in desperation because your guy is falling behind. I'll tell all you folks I attended Mormon church in my younger days during my search for truth. I even joined and held a priesthood! During these times I came to the conclusion this church was not for me! Having said that there were just 2 of their beliefs I had trouble accepting. Anyone familiar with the Church Of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints knows what they are. Those people are VERY good folks. The ONLY difference between them and any religion is that they believe Jesus didn't just stay in the middle East! He came to America and basically traveled the world teaching the word of GOD! They have the Book Of Mormon which is kind of like a Newer Testament. They Use the Holy Bible probably more.

The bottom line is I would trust a MORMON ANY DAY OVER A MUSLIM!

The recent discovery of "Russell's teapot" by the Hubble Space Telescope, however, does suggest that there could be someone drinking tea up in the sky.

... mmmm, and apple leaves instead of fig leaves .... this painting must be a forgery!

LDS on A&E from Wikipedia:
Adam and Eve's immortal bodies were created by God the Father and Jesus Christ and were placed in the Garden of Eden, which church founder Joseph Smith, Jr. taught was located in Jackson County, Missouri. When they were created, their bodies were not mortal and they could not die or have children, and they did not know right from wrong.

So you are practically living in paradise already ... just lay off them apples.

Why do you exclude mono-theists? If exclusivity is a factor then you should exclude atheists from participating in government as well since they exclude all belief systems except the one that says there is no God!

Could be that the 'small rack' Eve was introduced to help teach about efficiency and conservation of resources to young people.

Yeah, I'd swear I can hear that snake make a big hissing sound every time he takes a toke!

Yes! I agree with you. Atheism, by asserting there is no god, is a reactionary act of faith. A belief that there is no god, which is to say it is really another religion. Agnostics are of a more scientific approach by not excluding, nor giving precedence to, anything on the basis of unfounded assertions or beliefs, nor be otherwise hampered in their imaginations by them. :D

I see how well you guys relate to a valid post.
Typical anti American it is ok to steal rob and pillage under the law.

JUST CHANGE THE SUBJECT.

The subject is that the elected president of the United States of America has worked to sell us out.

This has nothing to do with pictures of Adam and Eve. MORONIC Shift off topic.
