I was looking for the older thread because I fell and hit my head.
I was confused but focused. lol I was alert but not alarmed. lol

When I regained my senses, I had bought (2) S115IV mains for 100$.

Yeah I got g.a.s. and no $, but my sound board with those 2 mains sounds excellent.

(Thank god for a few coffee stains and honest people)

Now I can get rid of my old P.A. and not have to suffer with boosted mids and weird noises that I did not like.

Aren't those S115's made by Yamaha or am I mistaken?

Our bassist picked up on a deal for a set of Carvin 15" bass speakers, new in the box ( plus an old third 15" ) for $80.00

We stripped down two of his old cabs and installed the two Carvin's.
They sound great! Best $80.00 we've spent yet. 8)
