Later the Wife of the assassinated Prime Minister placed the responsibility for her husband killing squarely on the shoulder of Netanyahu.

The miracle of Israel was how fast it was created just a few years after Jews were nearly eliminated from the Earth. I have lots of historical background and I have followed this since I was a kid.

I liked Israel a lot - they pulled it together despite the hatred of the arabs and the f**k Brits (look into it).

But then they shot the Liberty to pieces. Bad, very bad.

Then in Rhodesia I found that Israel was one of the few countries with the moral courage to support us in our struggle against Communist terrorism.

There is and has been quite abit of anti-semitism. Because of this fact alone there must be some basis to at least some of it ? This rule applies to pretty much everything. It seems that in order to "understand" any situation involving Israel then one must make a distinction between Zionist and Non-Zionist. Not doing so negates the validity of one's statements.

Fisherman Bob I urge you to step back and to take a deep breath, compose yourself and your thoughts and then respond not making such statements born only of anger. I have long practiced ... when possible ... the method of when recieving a letter, an email or such that spawns anger to rise ... then I do not respond until I have discussed it with my pillow ... perhaps even my Wife and then I put some serious thought into it before I respond. If I am still angry then at least it is then anger with thought and consideration.

Your comparison to Custer's Last Stand is not a very good one. Custer was an A-hole of immense proportions with an Ego that blinded him and eventually killed him. He was no hero.

Do Jews really feel safe in Israel ? They spend much on weapons, alot on "lobbying" and have a Leader who currently is the biggest naked warmonger in the world. The citizens are demonstrating the same as other countries and Israel seems by it's policies with neighbouring countrys the most paranoid country in the world.

The Jews that I have as friends (bookstores) are in the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, and Egypt. They all have been there for years , raised families and have no thoughts of "fleeing" and certainly not to Israel.

Why does anybody has to stop shooting, I say let them shoot it out but leave us Americans the hell alone. For 6 decade we've giving the Israelis money, weapons, fuel, intelligence and countless bellic resources so they can fight on their own, is not that enough, are we suppost fight every enemy Israel makes for eternity?

I wouldn't necessarily conclude that it was done on purpose if both governments have investigated it. If there was only one pilot involved it could easily have been a mistake.
