If I were the President I would order ALL embassies in ALL Arab countries closed IMMEDIATELY, PERMANENTLY and strongly recommend all private companies to close shop and leave also. Then the slimeballs can ROT in their own stew.

Not EVERYBODY in the Arab countries are slimeballs. The percent attacking embassies is a significant minority compared to the whole.

If that were true the majority would prevent the minority from these attacks. The vast majority of Moslems hate our guts. The minority may shoot at us with rocket-propelled grenades and guns. Okay, I agree we should just leave Libya. And probably Yemen. But should we really give at least trying to establish a relationship with the new Egyptian government? Its important to have at least a working relationship with them. Wouldn't You agree?

Thanks for sharing that! I agree that the main thing setting back the relation ship is not ONLY the extremists on the Islamic side, but on the American side as well. The funny thing is no matter which side of extremists you ask they will say that ALL of the other is the problem

We should send this ((&**($ government over there and set up a new one for us that will obey OUR, the PEOPLES, constitution. Now that would give them a legitimate reason to hate us.

So we shouldn't try to establish a relationship with there new government that could be beneficial for both sides? I don't care what they've done in the past, it matters what the FUTURE will be like.

Tyler, you're a young guy, and I forgive you for being naive. I've talked exxtensively with both Israelis and Moslems. The vast majority (over 90%) of Moslems hate our guts. Israel is in a fight for survival. We support Israel. It's really quite simple. We try to complicate things. What we need to do is vacate countries who hate us. Sure, buy their oil, they buy our food/products, but we get our people out of there. And if we really value the israelis we put a ring of steel around their country. And Daffy Duck, I'm not sure Egypt and Zionism go together. Israel has fought Egypt in a number of wars. Sadat made peace with Israel and paid for it with his life. Mubarak maintained the peace with the help of the U.S. but at a massive cost to the Egyptian people. Egypt is in a mess right now. Forces are gathering there which are NOT friendly to us and particularly to Israel. If it comes to war between Israel and Egypt, Israel will prevail again and again and again. I don't care if we maintain any kind of presence in lands where are almost universally hated. Let'm rot.

So you have spoken with 90% of Muslims and Arabs? When you can get that number to sign on to a petition against America then I'll agree with you. But, until then, I'm going to believe that peace will always be a possibility. When they hit you with violence, don't give them a reaction and they'll get bored real quick. If we keep up our embassies and businesses and attempts to establish peace, eventually they'll realize maybe they should talk things through and then we can come to an agreement.

Newton's 3th law of motion: III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. BTW this law applies to Human actions/ behaviour as well.

There will be no "talking things through" with these people. Just ask the Israelis how beneficial "talking things through" has gone for them. We're in their camp. No, I've not talked to 90% of them, but survey after survey taken in Arab countries sows that their favorable opinions of us range around 10%. And that's no matter what we do for them. Let'm rot....

These people? You act as they all think the same, have the same beliefs, do the same things, and have the same views. When you do that, you're no better than the Islamic Extremists that says "America must burn" because they think all Americans are the same.
