Dawg, in the middle of Mariposa, I get a call from the Local jail, it's my youngest son, I FORBID him to go out tonight as I am paying for his gas and he quit his job a month ago. I just bought his new uniforms for work tomorrow and gas for his car! He gave me Sh!t about going out! I am practicing tough love and it breaks my heart but I told the boy "it sucks to be you have a nice weekend in jail"

...Haley ... that is a rather tough one but based upon my very limited knowledge on the subject I think that in essence you have mad the correct choice. Of course I know not his age or circumstance but what you relate seems to show that you are being a responsible Parent. In reality it is none of my business I admit and apologize if I offend in any way. I just saw your Post and felt compelled to show my support for your decision. A little jail time always sharpens one's perspective a great deal.

'Tough love' sometimes is needed. Make sure he knows he's got to pay you back when you do bail him out.

Vamp. thanks for the support. There are a lot of small towns down here close to Galveston. He was driving with his (system) thumping and a cop pulled him over and he had paraphenelia on him. he had a friend in the car. They wouldn't let his friend take the car so they towed it. The last tow for the the other son cost $500.00 this kid sh!t is getting EXPENSIVE!

Driving down the road with his stereo blaring prolly rap with the bass thumpin just finished smoking a joint (the only one they had) redneck cop doesn't like the music pulls him over smells weed. Pulls them out of the car searches them searches the car can't find weed is pissed off. He does however find papers and a roach clip (illegal in Texas) can't find anything else. Said redneck is mad cause he can't make a (BIG BUST) arrest him for paraphenalia (usually a ticket) won't let his friend take the car and has it towed. all said an done 1K out of pocket for now! I guess this is a case of those RACIST LAWS! You know the kind they only arrest black folk for?
