Mo' Millis & The Tar Babies Music Productions
Posted: Sun Sep 02, 2012 11:58 amMy name is Mo'. See http://thetarbabies.com/mosprofile for my resume'. I'm a recording & performing artist via guitarist and vocalist; a songwriter and producer. I'm also educated and experienced in music management & promotion. I write music to pitch to indusry submissions for other artist to market & perform, as well as pitching to submissions as an artist myself. I work alone or with collaboraters.
Though I keep busy with the producing & pitching its not enough. I like to perform live and, if not in a performing situation, I am always seeking one. I have the entity of an original band, Small Burden, and are seeking long term official members.
Currently its a drummer and I seeking a bass player asap to form the nucleus of a cover band so we can start gigging. As things progress we intend to write and add original music to the songlist while working towards becoming an original band and act. This leads to possibilities of seeking a 2nd guitarist and a frontman.
Nothing is set in stone except the fact we want to form a functioning band and start gigging for $$'s. We understand $$'s isn't everything but we need that to function and grow into the band we want to be.
We are open to any ideas or feedback.
