I am looking for a good fondant mold of a Masonic emblem the square and compass with a capital letter G in the center? anybody got one laying around?

HA! I make soap too! Dont know why ...but I started dabbling in it a few years back... I think it was all the different oils (scents) that intrigued me... I am working on one called BluePoetSoap...which is just another way of saying "Experiment' I should Call it "Experiment 505" It's got patchouli oil in it...

Soap is fun, but I'm cheating now and getting it from someone else who makes the bars for me. I'm making shower gel now and just don't have the time. Do you make melt and pour or do you do the whole shebang with lye and all?

I been threatening to go with the lye, but for now I been practicing cold mill (I buy the Gylcerin already made Clear and opaque) and melt it down...
When I do the lye, I'm gonna try cookin it with lanolin as the oil base. Trouble is that lanolin is expensive as hell... A gallon is ridiculously high (@ 150 bucks). It's really a good oil cause the lather property is excellent. One thing I figured out is if I'm gonna make soap, I dont want nobody getting chemical burns from it LOL!

right now its a hobby..but if I ever get laid off from my job..., there's a little town called Old Mesilla (NM) where a bunch of vendors, farmers (and prolly some gypsies) go to sell their knick-knacks. I always wanted to do that ...Drink Tea or beer under an umbrella and sell soap Ha ha ! Not really ambitious , but oh how peaceful and stress free.
