I'm a fisherman (duh). Many lures are now made in foreign countries. I'm not sure there are any crankbaits manufactured here. Three of my staple lures are still largely manufactured or assembled here. Eppinger makes Dardevle spoons which are still made in Michigan. They sell over 2 million lures per year worldwide. Mepps spinners are hand assembled and distributed from Wisconsin. Some of the components are made here as well. I consider Mepps the greatest lure ever invented. I can't remember the last fishing trip I took whereI didn't catch a fish, largely due to Mepps spinners. Another lure I reaaly like is Bobby Garland jigs, made in the USA. Just about the best Crappie jig on the market. If you went fishing with a variety of those three lures you will catch all the fish you want (with a little advice from me free for the asking) AND you'll be supporting Americans in the process.
