Remember not to believe everything the press feeds you! Remember Loughner the guy that shot Gabby Gifford and the Sherriff that came out saying it was caused by all the right wing hate. Well Loughner turned out to be a Left wing liberal! My belief that not only was this guy a NUT CASE he WAS a DUMB@SS. Folks are saying he was after Muslims and these were a Completely different religion!

The world is full of hate from the Left and the Right. The world is also Full of NUTS! You guys know how I feel about Muslims? I would NEVER hurt one unless they were hurting me, my family, or an Inocent human! These folks that commit these crimes don't have "that caring thing" compassion for people. So they get it in their mind that they are going to hurt someone "usually doesn't matter who" They just go and do it! They are phukin NUTTSS!

I was refering to Jaryd Loughner when talking left leaning. This guy could be a right wing. I just prefer to wait for a few more facts before trying to find a political link on this latest shooting.

Agreed! This news story WILL be exploited to take away our guns and Ammo! I am waiting for the comments to FLY out of the whitehouse Press Secretary!

We in the US need to rethink how we categorize ourselves politically. Far right would actually be libertarian. Right center would be most consertives. I bet both of those types would be willing to settle for constitutional government - if we but had it...

The left, left center and middle are the places for big govt - and ultimately, mass killing.

It's first step for sure Dane. When Obama took office he redirected all the military's spent brass out of the civilian market and was having it "destroyed".

Primers & powder became difficult to obtain as well.

Far right ideologies tend to focus on superiority of a certain group, strong social hierarchy, religious/fanatical fundamentalism, and a whole host of other things.

There is a genre of "punk" that the white supremacists seem to get into.

They may look punk - tattoos, piercings, weird clothes, playing in bands, etc - but they are definitely not punk. Punks traditionally lean to the left or embrace anarchy, and racism is not tolerated. "Skinheads" believe in white supremacy (racism) and violence, and target minorities such as gays. You can't be punk and tolerate racism or homophobia.

thanks for posting that. absolutely right on the money. i'd venture to say that just like when most folks hear hoofbeats they don't think zebras but horses....i'd think that when most people think about examples of socialism they DON'T think nazi germany, and instead think of sweden, france, or our frostback neighbors to the north.

Political affiliation is simply all propaganda.

If you were politically inspired to kill people wouldn't you go after the politicians who are screwing up our whole way of life as opposed to people at a movie, or in church or some other public place where politics are not being preached? How would you know which ones to shoot if these were political actions? Would you randomly kill the people on your side?

It is all leftist (for the most part) and media propaganda that emerges every time there is a shooting. It is always brought up as a reason for the Left to take away our right to bear arms, NOTHING MORE. It is simply an opportunity for politicians to disarm us and take away more of our freedom, nothing more.

An unarmed populace is an easy populace to subdue through the efforts of tyrants whose sole goal is to rule over you as kings.
