Wow, I didn't realize the TV show The Jeffersons ran for 11 seasons. What a great character actor.

Chad Everett (actor from Medical center) died, too.

Famous people dropping like flies. More because of how many people have become 'known' due to 200+ channels of TV, the internet and other media outlets. 50 years ago, we just had a few tv channels and the newspapers.

Hey Mike, I lived in Needham for five years when I was a kid, 1966 to 1971. Happiest years of my life.

You probably wouldn't recognize it now, Bob! I lived in Holliston (about 15 miles west of Needham) at that time.

When I worked at GM I had a foreman who looked just like him, I called him George Jefferson. Needless to say he didn't like me much.
