Tomorrow morning in Frankston Texas.

The Pastor has cancelled all the Sunday meetings schools & services, turning the whole day over to us.

It will be the first time we publicly utilize our lights and fog systems as well.
When I met with the church leaders they said they were cool with whatever we needed to do to add to the atmosphere. 8)
I really only intended to utilize the visual effects for videos and private affairs, but why not give it a shot and see how it goes over ... right?

We normally get a mixed response anyway. Ranging from "man you guys are awesome" to " what the hell are y'all doing? "

We'll see how it goes. May be one of the last shows where I have to run sound from the stage & play as our new band secretary wants to do sound remotely for us, & all I need is the appropriate snake to make this happen.
She has also made contact with the Kilgore city officials whom are interested in utilizing the band at some of the local festive functions.

We are still just a " local " band, yet things seem to really be opening up for us on many levels.

A note of thanks is due to all my friends here whom have contributed to our growth and success.

Thanks & may God bless you all richly for your kindness to me and our band, despite my being an ass about %90 of the time.

I feel your show will be like a story book made in heaven. Hit them up big, bring them down and then show them the light at the end of the tunnel. God is on your side and your know it :!:

George I don't think you have ever been an AASSS.
You have been out, playing, growing, changing, accepting, and appreciating.

You are one really COOL DUDE. You and all your friends.

You keep playing,, God Bless.

Thanks brother ...

The show went great! While we ate in a local restaurant with the good people for whom we played, I hazard to question an elderly couple whom sat with my wife and I what they thought of the light show.
The gentleman smiled nodding his head, his dear wife giggled like a school girl almost blushing and said " we loved it ".

So much for stereotypes. 8)

Yes sir ... and the fact that I'm a rock guitarist at age 52 is not lost on me either. 8)

George I can attest that church folks know how to boogie!

We started drawing folks from my church who I thought were just too straight laced to even listen to rock music, but they dance and cut up more than anyone.

Maybe one of your churchs should sponsor a dance type deal for you guys, or maybe you could do one, just an idea.

Congrats on the way things are going for your band!

Sounds good George I'm sure you guys tore it up. I played acoustic Saturday on Belle Isle (an island in the Detroit River) for a private Gold Cup party, what a nice event. The Farleys are playing this Saturday and I'm putting together a classic rock band with Mike the drummer. Life is good!

Right! Appearance is everything in live performances. People go to shows to be entertained, not just listen to music - it's every bit as much visual as audial (is that word? lol). I much prefer night-performances where stage lighting stands out for this reason.

Jericho continues to March, I'm glad to hear you guys are still out kicking ass for God!

The website is still NKF?

The web site is at a dead standstill unfortunately.

We have a JM site but as for now it's just a blank home page.

We have to re record with our new members before we go any farther with our E presence.
With the day jobs and gig schedule that has not been a priority.
We are planning however for September to be a CD focus month.
Hopefully all the aspects of time talent and financial resources will align themselves.

I don't plan on turning down any more gigs than we must. Some we have had to due to schedule conflicts. September / October has been for us, traditionally pretty slow.

But then we never expected the response we have gotten this year either.
