Sorry....

(I've heard it all before)

(Chorus)
I don't wanna hear
I don't wanna know
Please don't say you're sorry
I've heard it all before
And I can take care of myself
I don't wanna hear
I don't wanna know
Please don't say "forgive me"
I've seen it all before
And I can take it anymore

You're not half the man you think you are
Save your words because you've gone too far
I've listened to your lies and all your stories
You're not half the man you'd like to be

(chorus)

Don't explain yourself 'cause talk is cheap
There's more important things than hearing you speak
You stayed because I made it so convenient
Don't explain yourself, you'll never see

(spoken word bridge)
(say "forgive me" or "sorry" in several different languages)

Sorry, sorry (repeat)
(overlap with I've heard it all before)

(chorus)

(chorus w/ second verse repeated)

(end with I've heard it before)

Hey, slow it down
Whataya want from me
Whataya want from me
Yeah, I'm afraid
Whataya want from me
Whataya want from me

There might've been a time when I would give myself away
Oh, once upon a time I didn't give a damn
But now, here we are
So whataya want from me
Whataya want from me

(chorus)
Just don't give up
I'm working it out
Please, don't give in
I won't let you down
It messed me up
Need a second to breathe
Just keep coming around

Hey, whataya want from me
Whataya want from me
Whataya want from me

Yeah, it's plain to see
That baby your beautiful
And there's nothing wrong with you
It's me, I'm a freak
But thanks for loving me
'Cause you're doing it perfectly

Yeah there might've been a time when I would let you slip away
I wouldn't even try, but I think you could save my life

(chorus)

I won't let you down
No, I won't let you down
(chorus x2)

Clifford,

I think you mean to say something to everyone here, but you ARE addressing many who are songwriters and as one myself, I think it would be best if you included the lyricists on these song lyrics.

You don't want anyone to think that you may have written these...that wouldn't be good.

I am sure that Madonna and Stuart Price who wrote "Sorry" and Pink and Max Martin who wrote "What Do You Want From Me" would appreciate the credit for their songs.

It is a good habit to get into and for those of us that write lyrics, it is the appropriate thing to do on this site.

True, but I wanted people to figure that out for themselves, and well, since I don't have any originals written yet, it should be obvious I'm posting other people's work.

I just wanted to say:

I was born in a cross-fire hurricane
And I howled at my ma in the driving rain,
But it's all right now, in fact, it's a gas!
But it's all right. Im jumpin jack flash,
Its a gas! gas! gas!

I was raised by a toothless, bearded hag,
I was schooled with a strap right across my back,
But it's all right now, in fact, it's a gas!
But it's all right, Im jumpin jack flash,
Its a gas! gas! gas!

I was drowned, I was washed up and left for dead.
I fell down to my feet and I saw they bled.
I frowned at the crumbs of a crust of bread.
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I was crowned with a spike right thru my head.
But it's all right now, in fact, it's a gas!
But it's all right, Im jumpin jack flash,
Its a gas! gas! gas!

Thank You for listening... i feel much better now.

pla·gia·rism

The practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.

Not a good thing to get in the habit of Clifford, by "letting everyone figure it out for themselves", you are implying that if they didn't, you wouldn't have posted or informed them of the true writers credits.......this is a serious subject, I'm not making fun of you, but trying to be helpful, yet again, this isn't a game, some folks on my songwriting boards would be furious over this post, you should correct it as soon as possible.

STOP making such a big deal out of everything, lady! I know what plagiarism is, and I'm not the type of person who would do that sort of thing. Since I cover other people's material, common sense should have told you and others that it was other people's work.

Why do people like you make a big deal about everything? Seriously?
