Horrible suggestion. It's still too professional, and it's NOT a fully functional free site.

Aim for something much simpler. The less features it has on it, the better, because ALL I need is a place where I can make friends with other amateur and intermediate level hobbying keyboard players.

I'm sorry, but all the sites you guys keep mentioning are going to be duds, because they are aimed at professionals who are already out there. I'm trying to reach those who right in the middle. Guys who play music for enjoyment, express their love for good pop and soft rock music, but who are also like me and simply looking for a friend to polish up some songs with and just hang out with. Someone who is much more low key and not all over the internet.

I'm sorry, but something seems really fishy here.

That website I mentioned stresses finding "friends" in music dumbass, it IS geared to people like you. It's exactly the website you should be on. You're hopeless. You'll never find what you're looking for because you shoot everything down. And if you shoot everything down why are you even here?

Etu, Im sure most of us have played with someone like Glamy at some point or another, so I guess thats why it makes it fun to mess with him for some sick reason.

I dont think hes said that one thing anyone here has suggested will work for him, he doesnt seem to realize that all of us that play music started at some point and had no clue, but had to figure it out on our own.

Ya know it's funny, several years back I expressed interest in playing with Delta bluesman Honeyboy Edwards (R.I.P.), I never once went on a forum and asked people to make this happen for me, instead I talked to my manager at the time, we booked a show with John Hammond Jr. and asked John how do we get in touch Honeyboy?

Got the contacts, made the calls, my manager went to Mississippi, brought Honeyboy back for several engagements and BAM, there it was. And just in the nick of time because he passed away not too soon afterward, so now I can say I played with the last great Delta Blues Artist.

Get it Glambertinelli? That's how things work in life.

I get it, but what works for you, may not work for me. And you also have to remember, that you started in a different time with differeitn technology.

Thanks for sharing that Etu, cool story!

When I was around 17 I thought I was this hotshot guitar player, I go to this party with a friend of mine and there are a bunch of guitar players there, one of them hands me a guitar and says show us what you got, so I play ever dang trick I know, playing with my teeth, behind my back, the whole deal. So they hand the guitar to this other guy sitting there and he just schooled me from note one. Just amazing guitar player, around my same age, it turns out it was Shawn Lane, if youve never heard of him, look him up. He died a few years ago, but man did he shame me. I didnt want to touch a guitar for a while after that.

I think you touched on something here, if you really want something to happen then you just have to make it happen, no one is going to do anything for you that you wont do for yourself, especially when it comes to music.

As I said. The reason I shot it down was because you missed one key thing: it needs to be a free site. That site you reccommeneded has a catch to it.

And aside from that, it still looks WAY too professional.

"I think you touched on something here, if you really want something to happen then you just have to make it happen, no one is going to do anything for you that you wont do for yourself, especially when it comes to music"

Again, as I said, different time, different genre, and different place.

A lot of you guys are WAY too small-minded and are only able to view things from your point of view. And when one simple thing goes wrong, you guys get all bent out of shape, and say rude things abotu me, or try to lecture me about how you guys got started.

I am utterly speechless with this last comment.
