What truth? I asked a question. Why are there so many individuals here who have hate and anger in their hearts, and treat amaterus, and intermediate level musicians and those with slightly diffferent music tastes like crap?

I mean, all the professionals talk amongst each other fine, and respect each other fine, but the rest of the musicians are treated like crap.

And why is it when someone has a simple question about how-to do something or wants to learn about other places and dsicuss experiences, most people online usually have the opposite attitude and reaspond with "go Google it" or "do it yourself".

What happened to individuals who are willing to work with each other?

. Your definition of "willing to work with" means shooting down any suggestions that we give you.
Sean has been posting the same aimless noodling videos for years on here. It's not "hateful" to criticize somebody who continuously does the same nonsense over and over again. I want to see Sean put together a video of something crafted, something melodic, not constantly showing us he can "play" all kinds of shredding techniques.

STOP saying that I shoot down every suggestion. I NEVER did anything of that sort.

You and so many others didn't take the time to consider whether or not we liked the same music and whether or not we had the same goals and were around the same age. And by same goals, I mean those who are looking for a few good friends to work on some songs together and continue learning about music together, as well as doing other activities of interest together.

The people who DID help me, ONLY provided me with GENERAL advice, when I need to learn about specifics within my area and be more involved in intelligent discussions with guys closer to my age who play music as a hobby and who simply show themselves as good likeable individuals.

Every single place I go to ask for help or search for some music buddies, I either reach individuals who give the impression that they just picked up their instrument and just started learning, or stuck up professional musicians who think they big shots, and thus love to pick on the less experienced guys.

What are you talking about Clifford. It occurs to me, You have never met a single soul here, in real life. How could you possibly assess anybody's moods?
Maybe YOU are bringing anger and hate into anything you read... ...

Hey. I'm smart. I can tell when someone is joking around or bullying someone, and I stand up for what's right.

And what do you mean by meeting a single soul here in real life? Do you mean made a friend here from an internet standpoint, or met someone in my area who I can actually hang out with?

I have met a lot of souls here, but a lot of them are troubled sould who seem VERY bitter, and are unable to think outside of the working musician box.

The people I'm looking for are not going to be found just by trying one particular place (online or in person). What I'm looking for is going to take looking at several different places, and attending more structured music venues rather than Open Mics where I just show up and play.

It's also going to take patience and the ability to form a good quality friendship/networking circles.

On past sites and music stores I've tried, ALL I've reached are either those who just picked up their instrument, or those who are already pursuing a career in music, when I need to find the middle ground.

Sean that was great. You have been hanging out here so long that I would really miss you if you stopped posting.
What Happened to that drummer you were playing with????

Please back up a bit, you were moving forward. I liked what you were doing when you put it in a sense that wasn't all guitar to the extreme.

Sean,

Hi, I have just listened/watched your videos on bandmix and YouTube.

I feel that you like to show that you can move your fingers and you do that very well, it seems that you know what you are doing.

But, I know another guitar player and when I hear his songs, I am just amazed. There is something that you are missing in all of these videos and that is emotion. What are you trying to impress the audience with? your hand movements or a song?

For just a small four letter word....a song is so powerful, it takes your audience on a journey of your soul, it paints pictures that only can be seen in the music......it is what I feel is missing....where are YOU in all of that playing? What are you trying to express to the audience?

I hope that you learn to take your skills and apply them into something meaningful and beautiful, you seem to have the fingers and instruments to begin.

Tammy

Sean as a fellow guitarist Im jealous of your chops.

I do understand what others say about no feel and all of that, but it doesnt matter to me, I get what your doing and Im impressed with your abilitys.

I know Ive asked before, but are you using a preamp or an amp?

Anyway good job as always, and keep at it, I see you are getting more and more fluid with your playing!
