Hey guy's another thing they did today was Shoot down the "Stolen Valor Law" now any one of you can go out and put on your Purple Hart and all the Medals you didn't earn. Hell you don't even have to serve in the military. YOU PHUKIN LIBERALS have just cheapen the ultimate sacrifice for Hundreds of thousands of soldiers who have died in combat! I'm SO PHUKIN MAD I CAN"T EVEN SEE STRAIGHT! I just watched a veteran of WWII and Korea break down and cry he was so mad. You know I am starting to believe the end of the world may be at hand! There are too many folks pissed about the SHEAR DISRESPECT and Heathenism this country has turned out to be WTF! :x

I would like to be there to see.... the first punk, show up... wearing these medals like Bling... and then watch, as a real veteran proceeds to kick his dumb punk-ass all the way back to the uniform shop. I hope that get that on you tube...

Sorry, but I don't see the purpose of legislating this. It's a waste of taxpayers' money. This has no bearing on me one way or the other. I'm neither a liberal or conservative. If somebody wants to a wear a medal that is real or fake or doesn't belong to them I could care less. Same waste of taxpayers' money legislating gay marriage. I could care less if two people, who I don't know, want to get married or not. Doesn't have ANY bearing on my life. We have multitudes of legislation that is frivilous, just as we have countless lawsuits that are frivilous.
We need to start looking at ENDING frivilous legal maneuverings ONCE AND FOR ALL.

I don't disagree about your point on legislation..There is too much legislation for sure.

But as for your personal sentiment...Bob, let me ask, with the utmost respect to you.. Have you served your country by availing yourself to defend her, at the risk of dying?

I have...

And at my very core heart, I don't agree with war, and neither did many of my mates, who took bullets shrapnel, and witnessed atrocity... Sometimes those medals are the only thing those men have left, to remind them that somebody cared enough to recognize what they gave up and lost , just to make sure the rest of us didn't have to give up and lose.

I cant think of a more desecrating act to these guys than to mock them, by sporting medals as bling, for the sake of fashion... its offensive and disrespectful... may as well just spit on our veterans..

What we need, Bob, is for people to "care" and to not be indifferent about that... Its really not asking a whole lot... (From my perspective anyhow...)

ok I'm off my pulpit...

I agree with you Grant. I respect veterans and detest anybody who doesn't respect and honor their servce, but this is an area of legislation that is frivilous. We don't need, especially at this time of grave economic circumstances, to get lawyers and legislators involved in any issues that have no bearing on our economic well being. Like the flag burning issue. I don't care if somebody burns the American flag. It's a piece of cloth. That's all.

A handful of criminals dressed in black robes have decided the fate of millions of Americans that they were supposed to represent, and they decided it against their opposition. Good luck in Hell you judicial bastards and communist Marxist socialist traitors. You are going to need it. Have fun while you can. That God that you say does not exist is going to have His way with you in a few years.

My father was in the Marine Corp for 39 yrs. He served in WWII,
Korean and VietNam. He worked the missle crisis in Cuba and
served with Chesty Puller. In 1979 when he retired he was the most
commendated officer in the Marine Corp. He had 5 purple hearts,
Navy Cross and tomany more to list. He was shot down in a jet behind
enemy lines in Nam and was the presenter of the gold medal in the
military olympics for firearms. 45cal. He was a light heavyweight
military boxing champion and a paramaster, scubamaster and
living RAMBO.

All the risks he took in life were for what that piece of cloth represents.[/b]
