I'd like to catch something like that. They fish for spoonbill cat in SD and those get rather huge also.

Unbelievable. There's massive catfish said to be in excess of 200lbs in major rivers like Missouri, Mississippi, Oho, etc. You get in the water with something like that and you could get seriously injured or worse. Just the thing flopping around with those teeth, gotta be crazy mother to even want to mess with it. Guys that go noodling for catfish are out of their minds. I'll stick to my ultralight rod and reel thank you.

My ex-wife landed a 6 foot sturgeon with a plastic fishing pole up north. She basically hooked it and dragged it on shore.

Be nice now Robert. There is a resemblance of the same snappy mouth, and the beady little eyes, and the scaly personality. But naaaahh I don't think that's jimmy,,,,
His teeth aren't that sharp, he doesn't see things that clearly, and his armor isn't that tough.
NO,,,,,, They just hung a fish.

. I was just trying to be funny, no harm intended toward Jimmy at all. We get along great (hopefully).

Good one Bob! However, notice I said ex-wife. In that case, it would have been a case of catch and release.

NO, unfortunately we don't Bob. As I said a "GROWN MAN IS AFRAID OF WHAT SOME ONE ELSE WROTE". WAY too FUNNY.

You should be as embarrassed as hell Jimmy. Be a man, not a fish!

Wasn't it RIVER MONSTERS where that one guy was trying to catch catfish that were taking children and eating them as they swam?

I'd bet they were around that size...(gulp)
