Seriously, it seems all form of human endeavor include plateau, steep climbs, barriers, and break through.

In the Kung Fu world we referred to the physical and mental barriers as "dragons" for you never really progress until they are slain.
And if you side step them they will burn your ass in the very near future.

Have you considered some fusion... Your awsemo guitar skills with some cutting edge Dubstep...(This would especially work with new 3d video media..
heres some clip samples of some dubstep, styles that could be adapted...)
