Can't message another bandmix musician w/o premier acct?

It seems pretty ridiculous that I would have to pay just to have authorization to contact a musician on bandmix. There are so many free sites to share your music and find musicians. I am disconnecting myself from this site.

Ridiculous? Not really. Inconvenient perhaps, but they have to cover the costs of running the site somehow. (And arguably it helps to weed out less serious musicians, since those who pay for an account are probably more dedicated to it.)

For what it's worth, I'm using a free account and perfectly content with it.

Adios. By the way the "free" stes aren't "free." They are full of paid ads. I have found as a premier member that the musical contacts I have made here have been generally a higher quality. People that pay for something usually are more committed. I would suggest paying for a month or two and trying it out first before leaving, but if you have to, adios amigo.

He was registered since 2011. He deleted his account while I was replying.

There was probably enough change lost in his couch to pay a month and try it out.

I'm presently running "free" ... but only because my band situation is in a state of fluctuation.
Kind a hope it stays that way cause we're getting book so regular.
Does make it difficult to find time to record and do our video projects.

Much of our local success over the last 5-6 years could be directly attributed to my contacts right here.

But if fast food is your pleasure ... there is always McDonald's

I disagree. It's called being on a budget...

You're kidding, right?

Wait, you're serious, right?

We are all on a "budget".
Including the people whom operate this site.
Our band has made a hell of a lot more money gigging from the contacts we made here, than I ever paid in BandMix dues.

If your not willing to make some sacrifices ... stay home and watch TV.
