Nice Job GT... Nice work on the guitar parts (Lead solo) .
The vocal reminds me of a song many years ago: "White-Bird" I couldnt tell you if that was the name of the band or the song... But the vocals, intonations are very similar.
I think the song needs a stronger middle... maybe change the key or something..
But its all good craft.. Thanks for sharing it.

I usually only comment on vocals but this time I'll talk about the music.
I like the song (first impression). The structure is cool because it
doesn't seem to fall into any pattern thats relentless or predictable.
You have all the right things recorded with the exception of a highlighting
guitar doing little riffs at appropriate places. I find myself waiting for
it throughout the song then the lead kicks in at 3:40. You need to introduce that guitar sound in peices throughout the song.
Next I know there is a mix and mastering problem. At times the
music is so muted and jammed together it shuvs the vocals too far in front. (never thought I'ld say that) You need to seperate the
instruments as best you can with volume control and panning. Also use another set of
ears that you trust. The vocal could use some compression also.
Generally I feel you have everything recorded you need except for the
one guitar track. That song will come alive with good engineering.

That was excellent gtZip! I'm on my 3rd listening and enjoying it immensely.
I totally dig the intro with the chorus and delay on the guitar, switching from major/minor keys as that section of the song really sets the mood. The vocals remind me of a Lane Staley type of delivery which I think fits the song well. There is just some issue with vocal pitch but I think you can correct it easily by more vocal practice, the important thing is that the melody is intact in this recording. I also like the switch between the clean guitars into the distorted part, and then how the two types of tone intertwine over various parts. Good balance with texture when it come to guitars. Drums sound great over the changes too. The solo I fell in love with, such tasteful shredding, with the complimentary octave slides that gave it impact. In my perspective, since you had that major/minor theme apparent through out the song, I was expecting a key change maybe on the Chorus or Bridge. But this is subjective. I congratulate you on this. Thanks for posting it.

I'd like to clarify that this was a group thing - I didn't sing it, or play the solo
I really dig the first half of the solo.
So it won't hurt my feelers if you all hammer the vocals, etc.
I know there's some pitchyness.
I have a list of things that I think are issues, but it's fun hearing other musicians opinions.

First GT that was a really good creative song. I guess you needed some reinforcement.
Back to reality, I am continuously amazed that everyone thinks that their recordings are SO PRECIOUS that you don't want anyone to download them.
This isn't "I TUNES" or any other for sale site.
The few that post their music, thank you. The 1 or 2 that want to download something that is posted here will be grateful to make it easy. Thats an HONOR.
I just bring this up because so many of you think you are protecting something so special. OK, you lose 10 sales, if it's that good you should have 10,000 behind that.
Reality check.

I don't have the authority to let it be downloadable.
More than just me involved.
Sorry.
