Perfect Imperfection the way of the universe

the song also has some grove that snuck its way in there i belive you will like it even if metalcore is not your thing

WHAT DO U THINK OF IT

Needs more of a bridge...And the chorus and verses need some more distinguishable features IMO maybe i'm too pop to give you my opinion :P
other then that doesn't sound bad i like the main idea of the track
if i were you i would have that little sparkling synth thing in stereo and kind of shelf the highs with an eq but once again..just my opinion
lol im not really a METAL HEAD :)

Haven't had the chance to listen yet, but what are you using to record? EQs are available with all DAWs.

Not familiar with Cool Edit, but it's got to have EQ plug-ins available.
You can download Reaper for free to try out (full version), and pay $60 to register it after that.
It's great to work with.

not really a metal-core guy, not sure what that means actually
but it has potential.
If it is a finished product it's too long.
that's about it.

Too many pieces of music finish too long after the end.

METALCORE Without copying down The definition It's a subgenre of heavy metal That combines heavy metal and punk Characteristics And slower more intense breakdowns It's designed for the whole crowd to get into

If Listen to a noise That is the same pick or intensity your brain will begin to mute it. And or pay less attention to it.

To prevent that. _With my writing style are usually try and write music using a pyramid structure so there is usually some kind of opening. Leaving to an intense hi point Or low point with some kind of closing rift at the end

That way it's not all metal in your face The whole time And when it is In your face Amplified in your face

Also allows for vocalists To use a wider range of vocals And actually sing and not have to scream the whole song

what I want to know is when are you going to switch up and play some solo's?

Xshadow, just for the sake of discussion/creative wise:

The Intro grabs pretty good, but I wasn't too keen on the low end grumbling beneath the chimed notes... Have you thought to maybe parallel the notes with that lo guitar (note for note in sync) , and then use a well rounded, smooth bass line to put beneath it... ?

Your shredding capabilities/precision are truly emerging... Would love to hear a lead solo on top of the body (right about where that missing bridge should be ;)

Otherwise, damn good work! :)

When my brain figures out sweep picking I was going to invest in some soloing and my hammer ons and pull offs needs a little work

Lol hahahah no 1 likes my gaps lol I thought I was being so cool with a stop and go type of song because the theme was sort of the big bang theory and things suddenly going from 0 to 1,000,000 lol o well hahahah

The low end. I do on purpose im muting the guitars in the way that lets the sound of the mute ring out along with the power of the baseline I don't actually have that much low end set it takes all 3 of the instruments to create that affect that's just something I like to do to lighten the rest of the song and to intensify that in particular area

I appreciate the feedback like I said before I want people outside of metal to appreciate my work

You are the guy i'm hoping to hook up with in Atlanta. A young, hot player, arrogant and ready to get out there and kick ass.

I have material, experience and aggression. But I'm no kid so my goal is to put together something impossibly creative and cool then ultimately turn it over to a rightful heir.

I realize that sounds terribly pretentious but there it is.
