I hereby declare the initiative to start a righteous voting system that all Musicians can benefit from: Here are some of those benefits:


1) We get heard by critical, valid ears.
2) Using the voter buttons process, We can anonymously /openly vote on the quality of the song.


Written critiques are of course optional...and I personally recommend that nobody here hands them out like skittles.

It seems to me that Musicians here, should 'earn' the privilege to recieve the written opinions of the other musicians here. How does one 'earn' these? Simple, ...Be respectful of others who offer their opinions.

Likewise, It does nobody any good to slam down a musician. I am guilty of this and I regret it everytime I have done it... (It aint me to be like that)

Vocal performance needs to be stronger, but the tone and melody are there.
I did not get bored.
I liked it.

It hasn't been mastered, but originally I wasn't sure if it ever was going to be posted AT ALL and I ACTUALLY LIKE THIS TUNE.
(I just want that whack ass space opera all over this tune so bad it stinks of smelly space opera to the core but I got the word, TOO GAUDY and doesn't fit so no space opera all over it for me)(bummer) lol

It's not finished, but it might be shortly.

I just got another version, but waiting to get the ok to post it.

Or maybe he'll post it..idk I just work on these things, tactics is someone else's forte' and you know from experience I am the furthest thing from a people person..

Implementation will be interesting, but you are def moving in the right direction.

Scott , It aint just about you... Others need this kind of spotlight too (whether they admit or not).

The way I see it, this forum is pointless if we cant extrapolate some modicum of "attention" on our respective efforts...

There are some guys on here that go on announcing all 'this and that' about their releases and what not... but they never spend one phucking moment to examine anybody else's work.. Its always "about them". If they do finally get around to "gracing us" with their presence, then what exactly do they offer that they can actually back up ....

I cant say that I don't fully understand the "selfishness" musicians are inclined to exude... But let me be clear about this... If one's attitude starts leaning toward "I'm Darbyshire, king of all the little people..." then I say phuck em... They are useless and haven't gone anywhere, anyhow..

Dont get me wrong...I love to engage in verbal bashings and word-wrestling, just like the next guy ... But I thought it would be a good idea to start pushing a vote system... if only to get some spot light. I would have started this with my own song, but you actually put yours out there first. (I try to be fair)

The thread will die shortly, all the people that would have voted , have voted...I wish more people would take the time.

Anybody else reading this, please post your new song(s) , (use the 4 items above as a simple criteria to make it easy for the rest of us) .

If they don't want to vote or critique, that's fine.

So hey, it looks as if my reg situation is folding up.
I got another MASTERED version of this tune, with a new name "Every Last Stand".

If you want to listen to it, go for it. It's the only thing on my player now.
You may want to hurry, as I don't know how long it will be up.

The same situation exists for the soundclick and reverbnation sites.

If you like it, that's great. If not, nothing much I can do to adjust it.
Probably next release by me will be some time after the 5th and a far cry from what has been coming. (In all likelihood, much more barbaric and technically lacking, ssdd.)
