I know it depends on who's playing what instrument, but I absolutely love the sound of a saxaphone. I have fond memories of a horn band I was in years ago. Besides guitar my favorite sound is sax. Gotta have it.

Guitar, Synth, clarinet, Sax. I have a Polyphonic Memory Moog in my closet that has a ton of really nice sounds. Every now and then I hook it up for the fun of it. Nice sounds with a cool on board sequencer. That is almost as fun mess around with as my guitar. As a kid I always wanted to play clarinet because I grew up listening to the big bands.

I have always and forever been mesmerized by the sound of the bass guitar.
So much so I often ignore lead tracks in music while listening.
While playing and my man Floyd goes off on a run it takes my fullest concentration not not stop playing my part just to listen to and enjoy his.

A toss up between bass guitar and violin. I love the violin in classical, celtic, country, metal etc.
I was originally and for a long time, a bass player. It was organic - I always paid most attention to the bass man.

Bass, Rockin' and cranking. Followed by drums, or is the other way around.
If it's to loud, you're to old.

Latvian and Latgalian Kokle.
For good examples, look for "Laima Jansone" or "ilgi".

Individually would have to be the sax. When I was a kid my parents took me to the circus in NYC. Some guy was playing in the subway, it sounded unbelievable. Still makes my skin crawl thinking about it.
