No write in votes will be accepted. Sorry.

These are your choices. If you wanted something different, you should have submitted a song before the deadline...
(which, as you all know, has already passed).

Due to widespread interest, we here at "End of Days Official Theme Song Inc." will also be accepting write in votes, but only for the following two songs:

"Another One Bites The Dust" -Queen

"The Song That Doesn't End" -Lambchops (for those who appreciate irony).

Any other song suggestions will be assigned to the following vote selection:

"If You Leave Me Now" -Chicago*

(My profile picture is actually me 80 years from now, sent to me via flux capacitor by my daughter-who is now the supreme director of the territory known as West Pennmaryhiokentsylvania. She has also informed me that "If You Leave Me Now" has already won this contest-again, sorry.).

I'll have to look that one up, Mike...I'll run it by our board of directors.

Oh, here it is...

Not bad! However, the BOD decided that the rules were clear, and so your vote for a different song will be counted as a vote for "If You Leave Me Now"...but cheer up, at least you aleady know that you picked the winner!

Great Choice, and a great song, Sans...and (sorry) another vote for the aforementioned Chicago tune, recognized from here on out as "IYLMN", or by it's official title-The Official End Of Days Theme Song...

I hope that everyone feels free to make suggestions...unless you really believe that the future is set in stone, and some random idiot like myself (or one or two other locals I know) really have any idea what the future holds...

Breaking news! I just recieved another flux C trsnsmission from my daughter in the future. She now tells me that there is one song that actually brings about the End Of Days! And here it is...

Apparently it causes a major division within our established government!

JCP61, that is actually the song that plays during transmission downloads from the future! It's kind of considered muzak ever since it was used in a commercial 25 years from now in which the Energizer Bunny (yep, still going) does the Macarena to that song. It also lead to the initial ban on listening to or dancing to any ELP songs East of the Mississippi River. (Apparently, they didn't recognize the danger of such a repulsive mix).

I love that song! I never knew that was the name of it. Unfortunately, rules are rules. Chicago gets another vote. It's worth mentioning, though, that I'm sure your suggestion is appreciated. 63 years from now, Cheech and Chong (who are strangely preserved and haven't aged) buy California-and quickly turn it into one giant pot farm.

What may seem as a plus, however, is mired by the fact that 59 years from now, the rest of the U.S. finally admits what we've all been thinking for a long time-Nobody likes California-and as a result, the rest of the country votes them out of the union, cutting all ties (there is even a failed attempt to activate the San Andreas fault). This leaves the remaining Caifornians with the largest marijuana crop in the history of the universe and nobody to share it with...

Cali is already a giant pot farm. MJ is our largest cash crop and we are the bread basket to the west.

I understand completely. What makes the whole situation worse is that, in the future, Weed is found to be a more viable production agent of ethanol than corn. Suddenly California finds itself with a massive amount of fuel-and no where to drive except for within the states borders. In one year alone 193 deaths come as a result of motor vehicle operators, high as a kite and with a tank full of gas, inexplicably driving into the Pacific Ocean. Another 1023 deaths occurred the same year in "huffing" experiments that resulted in instantaneous combustion-it wasn't until two years later that "Potohol" was refined into a suitable form to be used as bong water.
Hey, I'm not making this stuff up. I've got a connection to the future!
