Thanks man I was beginning to think I had made a terrible song I do all my audio mastering in my 2009 kia rio the most average car you can get

It's all in what you are used to listening with! I get the best idea of my mixes in my 2008 Nissan Frontier!

What mics (if any) are you using? I picked up a used Shure SM58 and an AKG Perception 220 off of ebay at great prices, just need to shop around and not get caught in the auction frenzy.

I would say look for ads in southern california and join a band that's already there.

But... as a black man, I don't know how you would feel about going to SoCal. The cops haven't been exactly decent to the black population, and the young black men haven't been too good to each other either.
