any feedback would be nice...http://soundcloud.com/shootshootpowpow
for some reason the mp3 uploader wouldnt work so just check out the soundcloud they're all there. they're pretty much rough drafts but the total idea is basically there apart from the vocals. also the bass on most of them might sound weird because its a guitar using a suboctave plugin to sound like a bass, only option at the time

1) Give them real titles
2) Post them Here on your profile. (Many Folks here will just ignore it if they have to chase down links)
3) I listened to everyone of the your tracks... I Liked the 2nd to last one ("Untitled 1") the best. You have a decent knack for applying different textures on the tracks...Nice job. Most of the music sounds like it would really work great in an RPG or first -person video game. (That's not a bad thing). I would not really call these "songs" (by definition) , more like "scores" and theme pieces.

Try adding some vocals... That will help them gel closer to 'song' status

Good Luck

No music on profile.
Bass is not bass.
No vocals.
No lyrics.
Rough draft.

WHY bother asking, geesh.[/b]

you have a good sense of rhythm and a pretty good ear.
not bad for a beginner
sounds like you have been playing about a 2 years.
play your scales and keep at it, you'll do fine.
If it was me I would ease off on the souncloud glitz.
take the programming down to the level you play at.

Hi OojoO! I like what I have heard so far and the ideas within the compositions are intact but need further development. Like everyone said, you need to incorporate the final instrumentation and vocals. As for the lead guitar solos, the delivery and note choices are good but the timing is off and some of the pitch notes are flat. Nothing a metronome and scale practice can't remedy. Keep at it!

JCP what exactly did you mean by taking the programming down to the level i play at?

well there's a pretty big contrast between your guitar ability and the computer accompaniment.
either get more out of the guitar or less out of the programing

0oJo0 wrote:oh i gotcha...well i dont know how it seems but the only thing i programmed is the drums cause i don't have a kit yet. the lead, rhythem, and bass is all me playing my guitar(suboctave pedal plugin in pod farm for bass), or is that what you meant?

no, I was referring to the soundcloud tracks
the songs on your bandmix page sound quite a bit better.
