If the silverado has the 4.3 or the 350 you should have no problem getting there! I'm not up on the more modern 5.3 yet. I need to do my research.
I'm no make snob. I am a model snob.
I only like models that consistently deliver 300K miles on original running gear.
90-93 accords, cvics, GM 3.8, 4.3, and 350, ford 300 inline 6, nissan quest, corollas, 88-89 mercury tracer etc etc
I am a festiva fiend. It's a 22 year love affair!

Paul its the 5.3 and I am at 247K! Almost there. I bought it with 23K back in the year of the Twin Towers! I have changed the oil (full synthetic) Penzoil of coarse, plugs, and brakes myself. That 5.3 is so FAST I won't let ANY of my kids drive it LOL! NOTHING but CHEVY Silverado EVER for this MULLET wearing SOB! Well maybe a Festiva for the commute to work!
