Well, I guess it is spring on the Upper Texas Gulf Coast! I love spring it is my favorite time of year! It is almost like the birth of a newborn baby or the metamorphosis when a caterpillar turns into a butterfly! Today would normally be the first of March but it is a leap year. The Hummingbirds will be coming soon and I am glad because this is the first year since Hurricane Ike that my Trumpet Coral Honeysuckle has come back and in full bloom. Hummingbirds love that plant! We have had such a mild winter here I had to treat the house yard and dogs for fleas last weekend. I was sitting out in my lawn chair watching the sunset just now. I got bitten by some mosquito's and heard a young toad frog croak! Yeah it is spring time on the Texas coast the temp today was 82 tomorrow it will be 84!

Moving to Minnesota to be with my one and only grandson is no fun.

My buttercups are blooming.

My wife and I enjoy sitting on the back patio and watching deer, middle of the month we will put out the humming bird feeders, I love watching them for some reason, I guess I feel sorry cause they dont have a penis, instead have a patch they rub, LOL!

So spring is a great time of year for me, I hate being cooped up in the house, or freezing when I go out for a smoke.

Ive concentrated real hard the last couple of years at getting some of my bermuda going around the house, have plans to make it even lusher this year.

Have flags out back for 4 apple trees that we will plant soon, and out front of my house have flags for a couple of oak trees to plant.

You guys didnt know that i had a green thumb, and it aint from picking my nose!
