I would think it's kind of what you did when you were thinking of playing drums for one of my songs a while ago.

Recording yourself digitally and submitting it somewhere on the web, or sending it to them directly either by email (if the file is small enough), or via a site like yousentit.com if the file is too large for email.

That's my guess.
