Posted: Sun Feb 26, 2012 8:37 pmCouldn't stand (as in I HATED IT) the disco scene in the mid to latter 70's, but loved Robin Trower, Spirit (Twelve Dreams of Dr Sardonicus), Phil Spector's wall of sound (Dismal failure that it was.) , Frank Zappa, Monty Python, and it seemed I could always land a clerical job back then.

But the seventies? Yeah I miss that - the intensity. I went to Hollywood and had that adventure - then late in the decade I went to Africa and had another kind of adventure. I was living large.
Now I'm just suckin' oxygen.

Posted: Mon Feb 27, 2012 12:38 amWhen I was in the Navy disco was big lol , but I was listening to Fleetwood Mac, Boz Scaggs, Thin Lizzy, UFO, Boston, and all those southern rock bands .............. Saw exceptional bar bands on Broad St. in Philly.
