My name is Jennifer from North Texas. I have over 20 yrs experience singing. How do I find other Christian singers to Worship and Praise? I mainly like to sing Contemporary Christian but like the old Gospel songs too. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks! :D

Sure I'm full of them.

It's all about networking.

Check my site here ... visit our old web site noisykungfu.com
Then check out our old Facebook and our new Facebook pages.
New web site for JERICHO MARCH not up and running yet but these should give you a glimpse of what we are putting out there.
Two of the five present members I located right here on Bandmix using the search function.
Want to talk about how I went about it, give us a shout.

Best wishes.

Try using the BM search function. Most folks that are into Christian music put it on their page.
You can always move to Charlotte there are plenty of Christian players here. :P
Good Luck to you.

Try searching Facebook for groups with the same interests that are in your area ...
I found a ' musician grapevine ' with a Grateful Dead flavor already set up ...
Its a regional page and its good to meet people and check out their bands , etc.
I am not above ' cold calling ' guys in bands already .... maybe they will sit in / recommend someone- you never know.
Networking is the key as Sans Dude has said.
Good luck
:D

Back-up what you say with audio on your profile so people can believe
what you say. Other wise its just words.[/b]

Spend your Sunday mornings surfing churches. I would imaging there would be a good many Christian singers throughout the various denominations. After all, you don't have to join a church just to go to one. :)

Could you even begin to count all the singers who started in local churches that made it big time? Franklin, Houston, Donna Sommers, and on and on....
