Sorry for the non-musical post. Is it my imagination but does anybody give a crap about the Republican primaries at this point? Voters' attendance is way down. The two front runners have the personality of moldy cardboard. None of the Republicans., I mean NONE have even hinted at a specific plan once elected. If Santorum gets nominated about 96% of women will vote for Obama. Romney will also get slaughtered by Obama. This has been the most lackluster campaign in my lifetime. Truly pathetic.

As you know I follow politics rather closely. I've been a Democrat my whole life, good and bad. If the country, as a whole, feels things are going alright Obama will be reelected. If the country really wants a change, vote Paul. The rest are not worthy.

I'd say I don't mix politics and music but that would be a lie sort of.
I've bought too much stuff from Bain Capitol. They have their hand in everything lol
I'm a Flaming Liberal, and the current President is not Liberal enough for me.
So his opponents clearly wont get my vote.
If Ron Paul was 30 years younger and a Independent I could support him. My current doctor is almost as old as he is, and she'd be out of luck too.

The Rabbit hole is deeper than I really want to know. Ignorance is bliss they say. I have friends and family around the world and their opinion of our country has more sway than my neighbor next door. When someone states our friends the British, the Russians, the Mexicans.............. on and on......... They miss the point, The United States of America has no friends. They go along with us cause they are scared to death of us. They're not our friends, we blow folks up via remote control planes now so I couldn't say our President has a kinder gentler machine gun hand, but on the world stage they don't think he's crazy like the one he replaced.

The current batch of challengers for the job: The guy that Laid ME off years ago, two guys that helped him do that, and a guy thats done nothing. All four of them shared a stage with Michelle Bachmann and Rick Perry the current guys are guilty by association just for standing on the stage at the same time so they're all BatS--t crazy. We had Eight years of stupid crazy before this less crazy guy took over. Might as well get used to him.
Hillary would have really p'd you off.

We are on a runaway vehicle heading towards the edge of a cliff. No matter who is elected, the lyin king has already cut the brake lines and jammed the accelerator full throttle.

My advice is to enjoy the ride to the bottom because when we arrive there it will be all over as we know it. There will be no more freedom. We are already loosing our liberties daily through these tyrannical wanna be dictators. These fascists are even telling little kids that they can't eat the meals their parents cook for them. Even when their parents sent a lunch far healthier than what mrs dictator demanded.

The little voice in my head said we're going down. And that's just the good news.

I was listening to an interveiw yesterday. Some big banker I can't remember his name, was saying we have about 2 to 3 years to deal with this deficit. In that period of time we MAY be able to deal with it on our own terms. After that period we are headed for some serious austerity measures like it or not. We are already headed toward the same situation Greece is in right now. Guys my age are screwed and like Slacker says thats the good news.

All I hear is doom and gloom from you guys. You want anyone but Obama, but won't commit to anyone. Come on, grow a pair and say who you're for! No Republican candidate other than Paul has offered any concrete economic plan, just a lot of vilification of the current administration. Do you really think the majority of Americans are that stupid? Most people can see that the current crop of Republican POTUS wannabes are sub-par, to be kind. The Republican party is seriously fractured; some want Romney, some want Santorum, a few want Gingrich and a few want Paul, and a few want none of the above. Obama is licking his chops, he hardly has to do any campaigning because the other guys are so bad.

I am for Whomever the candidate is Jimmy! I don't owe you SH!T Mr. wiseguy. Yes I DO think the majority of Americans are that stupid INCLUDING YOU BRO! I am sorry to have to put it so bluntly. But those are the facts. You can't keep giving the country away even submitting a budget after 3 years that does NOT do a DAMN thing toward lowering the deficit. So all this DUMBASS President has to offer is smoke and mirrors Jimmy. We'll just take more money from the rich. Well there are not enough rich people to pay for this sh!t if you think there are your even more STUPID than I thought!
Our economy is a run away train bud. I know you will just stick your head in the sand and say things like We're drilling more than ever and green energy will get us energy independence! You just wait until gas hits or exceeds $4.00 a gallon. Watch what that does for this presidents LIE called a booming economy LMFAO!

Thanks for proving my point. You really have no candidate to get behind, you'd vote for your dog as long as it's not Obama. You can't even get behind the one Republican that has any ideas. What a joke. And gas $4.00 a gallon? We've already seen that, who cares. Maybe it will keep some of the morons off from the road but it won't do a damned thing to the economy. Most people I know are doing fine; the ones that aren't don't have a job because they have no education or skills. Too bad, too sad.

The problem is that there aint ANYBODY with the leadership skills America needs... Simply put , we are stumped...It doesn't matter if its Obama or anybody else... They are all monkey-suits and all they can conduct is monkey-business... Nobody left to trust.. I like Ron Paul, but he's in the same boat that Ralph Nader takes... (I.e prospects of getting elected are low) . Never in the history of America have I seen so many power-lusted losers trying to take over this country like i see now... We are soooooo fked...

Reminds me of when I used to go to The Carriage Room in Salisbury NC. I'd sit at the bar with this guy that owned Officeland and when he was pretty drunk I'd tell him I had the hots for Hillary Clinton, and diss Reagan a little bit razz him about "W" ........ The poor guy would almost explode. ............Bain got him in the end. Sad the guy ended up broke and Now he counts on the very sort of entitlements he was opposed years ago. Unless your a real major player voting against your own self interest is foolish. When you can't pay your dues at the club those guy's you been playing golf with wont pay them for you or your house payment. Economics is not something done in the shallow end of the pool. A million bucks wont get you a seat at the table. This comment is not aimed at any one person, and is not intended to rile anyone up. I feel bad that I picked on that guy years ago. Always be ready to change your mind about life and it is so much more pleasant.

I did change my mind in life. As I got older I realized that the conservative way is better for the most part. No one is perfect. You are a good guy Ayrtrayn, and so is Jimmy. I will debate you over politic's and sometimes I get mad I am only human. I get over it and NEVER hold a grudge. I took a break from this site because of politics and swore to myself I wouldn't get caught up in these kinds of arguments when I came back LOL! Just look at me LMAO! Seriously I am concerned (very concerned) about the direction this leader is taking us and I believe it is time for a conservative to be in the whitehouse. Someone that is not so DIVISIVE. All along its been blame Bush and if you critisize the man your a racist. Well what a lot of folks don't understand is that how do you power electric cars duh you plug them into the wall. Well that electricity comes from fossil fuels folks. The oil company's lowest moneymaker is gas That's not where they make their money. They make the money off of polyurethane and byproducts of oil. There are things to consider. The main reason I think most americans are stupid when it comes to politics is that they are so busy with there own lives or just don't care enough to keep up with what is really going on. So they just trust the LIBERAL MEDIA to tell them the truth and to me that is STUPID! You are not veiwing all the angles when you do it that way. As I got older I figured out that all the parties have an agenda you just have to figure out which one is better for the country as a whole and will do the least amount of DAMAGE!
