By the way, this whole video was shot with my iphone 4s. It shoots in 1080 and I'm able to record direct with a headset buddy - a splitter the gives a line in and a line out. I also edit video on the iphone and upload to youtube from the iphone. This thing rocks!

Thanks man! I'm working on another one with the builder of this one. I'm going to copy my t-60 in about the same size as the cbg. About 1/2 scale! Fully adjustable bridge, same pickup, 4 string neck. I just need a little more room between the strings and the body where I pick.

I have to put a drumstick on my bass so I can hit my drummer's cymbal once in a while when he forgets to!

Damn Fine NeanderPaul, you've got me doing
this loop recording now, not at the level you
are. Good instrumental, you can hear phrases
and motifs stated and restated differently, end
with a odd ball cadence cool.
Your to good a singer to be doing only instrumentals,
put some words to it.

Cool Jimmy! That means a lot! I am still honing and tightening. Several factors have come together for me. It had been two years or so since I had done the live looping with full instrumentation. In that time I got better at drums as I played drums in the six piece band. I got better at piano (I know that's not on this song) as I concentrated for several months on playing full songs on just the piano while singing. I got my new bass which is fretted. After playing the fretless for several years getting back to the fretted is like a walk in the park. Plus I like the pickups better. And then this CBG is just so impossibly easy to play. I am way tighter on this guitar than any regular six string. Open tuning makes it easy. And the skinny neck makes it a breeze to play. And the overall tiny size just makes it easy to man handle it. I have not played a six string since I got this thing. Add to that the fact that I continued to do a cappella live looping during that downtime. That kept my looping pedal timing skills tight. I'm working with the builder now to build another four string and I'm trying to build a body myself. It's going to be a solid body. I'm going to try to copy in half scale the Peavey T ? 60. Probably won't be exact but at least derivative. I'm sorry I know that went on too long. I'm just excited. When I finally looped with full instrumentation after so long an absence it was really euphoric. I love looping.
