Sorry to hear about the divorce ... been close myself but so far ( as of March ) been 30 years.

Been through lots of life changes and all I can say for sure is:

The only constant in this realm is change, and for every door that closes more open.

The best news is, despite all this, God loves you ... forever.

Congrats on your AA...

Truly sorry about the divorce... That seems to be going around a lot these days... As a vet, I can tell you that the military fails miserably at debriefing its soldiers after a war/battle conflict. So they bring home all this crap and next thing you know its open season on couples for the local divorce attornies...

If this is about the War...
There are "ombudsman" who can help you guys sort through the acclimation of his return...

I guarantee you , the guy you married is still there, but he's probably buried underneath a lot of trauma... And I don't buy for one second that these soldiers are not drastically effected by their experiences... ... Divorce is the simplest resolution...but is it really the right one?
Just saying...

I hope it works out for you .

It sounds like you are achieving your goals quite well. Congratulations, however, I am sorry to hear about your divorce.

I am a new musician on Bandmix.com, well... new to the forums at any rate.

Nice to meet you, I am John. I have some music up if you want to hear, I certainly could use some criticism. I am new at production, so if you have any tips, I would be glad to hear them.

Anyways,

All my best wishes for a brighter tomorrow.

As Willie Nelson said, there's no such thing as
ex-wives, only more new wives.

Relationships are tough, pour that into your music.

AA that's like a associate's degree, right?

My oldest daughter married a Dr., and my second
oldest daughter is a RN, and both families seem to
be doing real well. I couldn't work in the medical
field (I don't believe in Dr's), the medical field seems
like a profitable field.

Good Luck

Your mind controls your spiritual
and physical well being, look only
within.

You disregard the gifts GOD has given to doctors. Like anything there
are good ones and bad. Your view gives the responsability of your
own well being 100% to yourself.

Why do you need a GOD?[/b]

Lynard, I believe some of that , but only up to a point...I used to date a lady who was totally holistic in her approach.. On balance, her quality of life might have improved 10 percent overall...But she has health conditions, which all the inner self will power in the world just isn't gonna fix...

The trouble I have with most doctors, is that a lot of them aren't really in it to heal people. They are in it for the wealth, prestige and status that they can derive. Like every other industry, the QOS in medicine has gone down hill...
Same for Lawyers...

That's why, as an independant IT guy, you can place a sure bet, that I am gonna rake every Doctor or Lawyers ass over the coals whenever they subscribe to my IT services.. I'm serious as a heart attack...(No pun intended)
They want me to write an app for them, I'm gonna charge them thousands of dollars and they will be lucky to get an excel spreadsheet solution from me (The equivalent of Tylenol for a stroke) . When they ask about a business problem, I'll tell em I can write up a solution. When it doesn't work, I'll explain that like medicine, nothing is a sure thing, so I'll have to run some more case scenarios (equivalent of more medical tests) . Then I'll bill the crap out of them for those tests, and If a solution ever does arise, ...you can bet that I'm gonna mark my fees up in the thousands more... Either way, I'm gonna scale up according to "their economy) and i will definitely gouge them out. If I had more resources, I know I could organize an IT oligarchy in this town and assemble an outstanding team of IT professionals, who could deliver amazing technical /cutting edge sh*t... Charge out the ass for it ....and circumvent outside competition... But it takes a lot of money to up front to pull that off

I guess I share your sentiment about doctors .

the idea of spiritual or mental healing is a great concept, until you break your leg.
then it don't work so well.

Disregarding God's gift? I'm embracing God's
gift Klug, were not all created the same. I'm
blessed to be in the physical and spiritual shape
I'm in, not many as physically fit as me, I take
care of my body everyday thru diet and exercise,
you just don't get a body like this. With diet and
exercise and all the physical blessings the Lord has
bestowed upon me, I've never had a need for a
doctor, and I'll be 53 this year.

Why do I need God? Who but Jesus could speak
for my eternal soul.

I'm quiet on this subject.
