Burnt Offerings

That's the title I settled on for my new album, after one of the songs. I just finished the rythym guitar and bass tracks. Now for the hard part. Building the rest of the songs. Still waiting on the artwork. 9 months in and I finally feel that i'm making headway on the album (I wiped everything 5 months in and started over). I had to omit a few songs for various reasons, so it's somewhat stripped down from what I originally intended. But 13 songs is enough to do what I want with it. If I sell enough copies to pay for it, i'll be a happy boy 8)

Just takin a break before diving into some mixing and drum tracks and wanted to say hey to and update ya'll.

Great news! Just curious why you decided to do the drums after the rhythms and bass. Seems like it will be harder; I've always recorded the drums and a rhythm guitar first. Best of luck.

well, apparently I have some unusual time signatures in my material. And since I dont have a drummer, the drummers need the music first in order to learn their parts.

Burnt Offerings were what my ex wife offered up to me twice a day. Yeah. She treated me like a god.

Damned drummers and their poor mind reading abilities.

I can always read my old drummers mind, he's thinking
where can I get some weed, beer, whiskey, pills, any drugs,
sex, damn near any woman. I got to where I didn't trust
him in the backyard with the dog.

But what if it's consensual and he really loves the dog?
