What did ya'll think about Steven Tyler's national anthem at yesterday's game?
I think he is a rocker and his voice is not melodic enough to be singing that song accapella!

Steven Tyler is everywhere these days is he not?

Im not gonna diss him, cause I like him, could it have been better, well yea, but it couldve been a hell of a lot worse!

I just wonder what Joe Perry thought of him singing on there! LOL!

Thinking back to when I got into Aerosmith in the 70s, I never would have imagined that Tyler would be singing at a football game, whats worng with this country, the drug crazies are taking over! LOL

Im just kidding of course, I think it was cool.

I have sang the National Anthem a few times at Little league baseball opening day! With that song you have to start out within your range! I knew as soon as he started it he was going to have trouble hitting that high note! You have to start out pretty low. Its tough singing that song Accapella especially in front of Thousands of people!
I have ALWAYS been a fan of Aerosmith and Steven Tyler and I still am!

He does sound a bit tired. But dude is 63 and has been screaming since he was 16 or 17.
What did they think he was gonna come out and do some Whitney Houston version? :?

Considering the chit he's put himself through he's lucky to be alive and still doing his thing.

But I have to say he's lookin kind of draggy these days. Time to ditch the scarfs and tone down on the make-up a bit...
Go back to the old t-shirt and baseball cap look

SF has a guy that's smart enough to RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION if he has no intention of returing the punt, they go to the Super Bowl.

S***, I can run in the opposite direction of something.

Tyler is an Icon these days!

I enjoyed that superbowl halftime a few years ago where I think it was Britney and Justin sat in with Aerosmith.

Love it or hate his Star Spangled Banner interpretation, but it was some good PR for him, even if it was negative!

On that note did anyone on here see Obama singing Lets Stay Together?
