Heard about half of the new Van Halen song "Tatoo" today.

Anyone else heard it? What do you think?

Its ok, I saw the new tour line up and I am gonna get tickets for the Minnesota show. I just hope thay have enough steam to make it through the tour. So far all the VIP tickets for the early shows are sold out.

Good for them and I wish them well.

Not heard a note ... really does not interest me for some reason.

I have ALWAY's loved Van Halen and ALWAY'S will! I know Eddie has his quirks but who doesn't. The guy is such an unusual talent and has done so much to popularize rock guitar and literally change the way it is played! I don't care if he is a liberal I still love the band!

Eddie Van Halen has been in his basement for the past 20 years and that's the best riff he can come up with? I was a fan back in the day but they could do a lot better than this tune.

LOL, I love Eddie's guitar playing.

But these days I would just as soon listen to Chickenfoot as Van Halen, will I listen to the new stuff, yeah at some point, will I buy it, dont know yet.

Im like Jeff, Eddie is amazing as a guitarist.

I only heard the one tune and the break just sucked the big pickle.

If this is all they have left, let VH die RIP my dear friends..

Well I went and listened to Tattoo.

I dont really have an opinion on it, when I heard the fade in on the guitar I thought it might harken back to older days, but that is just substandard for VH, hell dudes hire some songwriters or something, I miss Micheals backing vocals, but in a strange way appreciate that Eddie has his son in the band, too bad theres not a singer in the family.

After to watching it, I did go over and watch a couple of Chickenfoot videos, now thats more the kind of music I like these days, kinda old school raw rock n roll.

I think i will save money on concert tickets if VH comes anywhere close, and try to check out CF instead.

I heard on the radio in Seattle that "Kool and the Gang" are opening for them. What a weird line-up?

Shake, shake, shake....shake, shake, shake...running with the devil

"Shake your Booty" was KC And The Sunshine Band.
Kool And The Gang had hits like "Get Down On It" and "Celebration"
I thought that was kind of a weird line up. I read in the paper the tickets go on sale here this Saturday. I just bought tickets to see ZZ Top at the Houston Live Stock Show And Rodeo! Oh yeah! Two of my favorite things. Stinky animals and "That Little Ole Band From Texas"

Jeff, I saw ZZ Top in 70's when they had livestock and cactii on stage. And these were big animals, giant steer with big horns wondering around on stage while the Top jammed. Too much!
