Played locally as a "fill in" band ~ another band couldn't make the show so we covered their spot. Lots of fun. Just sharing some pics.

Sir I saw Talking Heads when I was in college in Nashville.
We walked in and there was no equipment on stage, the lights went down and they brought out this big reading chair lamp, David Byrne came out with his acoustic playing Psycho Killer.
By the 3rd song all the musicians were on stage, cant hardle remember the concert, but man the Black Poodle club still stains in my memory.
Hey thanks for sharing!
Good Luck

SirJams,
If you ever have the chance to record a video of you guys doing, "Learn to Fly," I would seriously appreciate it. I love that song!

Someone shot video at an open mic I frequent every Tuesday - thought I would go ahead and followup on this old thread with those videos. Sound quality is lacking, but so is my voice so it all evens out I guess. But here's our rendition of a few songs.
We have a show on the 24th of this month - I'll try to get some video of that show to share. I'm learning a lot being on stage so much, and having a great time doing it. One day we'll find a singer so I can just kick back a little.

The more I play live, the funner it gets. First few stage appearances were learning how to deal with stress and I just didn't feel comfortable being the front-man by virtue of being the singer. It's getting to the point now where it's just fun - people just wanna have fun, so it's much easier to relax and enjoy playing which is what it's all about.
Our next show is on the 24th (this Thursday) and I'm really looking forward to getting up on stage again.
Thanks!

Jams
Get it done!
Any gig is worth ten rehearsals. If you wail it's a huge win - if you don't you learn a lot.
You get better and better.

We finally decided on a band-name: Red Tuesday
Every Tuesday we practice at a studio called Red house,
followed by an open mic at a bar named Red Hat... and I'm surrounded by red-heads on stage
pics from last-night's show - May 24th
Full House! FUN SHOW!
