If YOU do a cover and the rest of your band says it sucks, you'd better listen unless you want public humiliation/ you tube persecution.

Nothing worse than playing out, sucking it up really bad and as luck would have it, someone you know had their cam handy to capture the whole she-bang for later dissection and discourse.

I try not to beat up on these types but this just made my head pound and my stomach twist into a knot.

I am not a woman hitter, but she could use a good slap from my female pal here.. lol (And she's saying she'd slap her one good for ruining that tune.)

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall so I could hear what her band mates were saying after that show.

How do you hate Miley Cyrus? That doesn't seem fair, she's only doing what people tell her to, she was too young to tell Disney "no, I don't want to be a rich/famous pop star." If anything, I'm mad at the 1.3 million dolts that viewed that clip (myself included.)

If a major label told me to do something like that and I knew it sucked, I just wouldn't do it.

Do whatever you do well, but do not suck live or you will be one very fing sorry guy.

You can always say you had a brain fart on stage and forgot.
Once you suck bad enough in a live setup and it gets recorded/video taped, it will be something you wished you had reconsidered doing.

Miley made enough from her Disney disasters to retire.
I would have considered retirement before doing that tune when you know it's going to bomb.

she's just doing what everyone here is doing,
paying tribute to a fellow stoner by doing his song, she probably really likes that song,
the difference is when she dose it everyone knows about it
and when you guys do covers no one knows about it,
and that is quite possibly why your jealous.

That's because you don't have any of your lousy crap posted. Jeff, myself and several others have posted covers we've recorded, and in my opinion most are pretty damned good.
