Well I made it home with everything in tact! I think? Wow Vegas is cool! I had the best time of my life out there! We got there Friday at 2:pm checked into the hotel room and went site seeing! Wow Wow Wow! Saturday I swear we walked 10 miles went thru EVERY hotel! My wife laughs at me because when we were dating I said I had no desire WHAT SO EVER to go to Vegas as I am not a gambler! I am NOW LOL!

Friday and Saturday we stayed at the Excaliber as tourist. On Sunday we moved to the M Resort where the Gig was. It is a New Resort not on the strip. It was the Nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in!!! It had a breath taking view of the Moutains around Vegas.
The Mystery guest was not Jeff Bridges as we had thought. It was Terry Bradshaw which was really cool as well. Basically he flew in on a private jet Did a question and answer to the crowd of about 800 for 30 minutes got back on the Jet and flew back to L.A. then we did our Last set! The p.a. was great a Yamaha LS9 mixer, 4 EV double 18 cabs, and 4 EV double 12 cabs with horns, with appopriate power and processing. The sound was awesome. Yesterday before leaving I had no less than about 50 people approach me in the Hotel saying how much they liked us. The gig was for a Major building supplier. It was the kick off party for their weeklong seminar. There was lots of pictures and video taken. I Just got back into town last night and will post pics and video as I get it. It may take about a week as I was not the one who took the pictures. The company had professional photographers and Barry had his video camera (the good one) he wasn't able to set it up on a stand like he does at gigs. It was up to our wifes to shoot the video and pics. (fingers crossed) hopefully it will turn out okay!

I think I would bust into a million pieces to have what you have done and not talk about it. Vagas will just have to live with it. Good job J!

Most of the video and audio was not very usable as the pa was loud (very) and the wife's shooting the video (really didn't want the j.o.b.) LOL!
Here is a TID BIT! We actually got a lot better video this past Sat. Barry is out of town on business and won't be back for a couple of weeks to run thru and edit! for now this will have to do!

Jeff. You guys rocked man... You looked good up on stage and I gotta say the covers are tight as hell..

Was looking for a light show to go with that act... And being that its Vegas, you guys could've grabbed a few dancing girls backstage couldnt ya? 8)

Dog, that's a $7000.00 show in Vegas (peanuts) If they wanted lights it would have been another 7 grand

that's excellent.
A great opportunity and bound to lead to more.
A paying gig in Vegas is nothing to sneeze at.
so good luck to you!

sounds like you're creating the right kind of buzz.

Dog, they rented everything from a sound company. The only thing I had to take was my guitar and pedal board. Technology is the thing in mixers these days. They are computers. Barry our sound man brought my other guitar on the plane. He also used a memory stick. He zipped the settings from his allen and Heath mixrack when we got to Vegas he uploaded the settings from the memory stick into a Yamaha LS9 mixer. First he had to update the software on the LS9 and then he loaded everything. From that point we just had to check the signal from each channel.
The venue charged for each light and elec. outlet. As a result we kept the lights to a minimum! The cool thing about that gig is when we were done we just grabbed our guitars and hit the Bar!
