General Music Chat

Just wanted to update on how things went with my audition yesterday. It went well. I'm being considered for the female lead singer. I sang well and had good pitch and tone but my nerves kicked in, just like I thought they would, and I didn't have as much energy in my voice as I should have, and do. I told James that it will take time for me to get used to things and I'll be fine. I'm going to record myself this week and let him listen to how I really sound, minus the nerves. He knows that I've never been in a band before and is willing to be patient with me. So, looks like this will be my first band, I'm soooo excited! LOL

Since this one went well and you have the seed planted that these people are gonna be forgiving, I doubt it will happen again....If ya get flighty and the voice gets shaky, just look at them and smile...I bet it goes away quickly...

Thanks guys for the congrats. I know it's gonna be a lot of work, but I'm ready for it. I'll keep you posted on how things go.
