Very cool Paul! We do this song (Neal McCoy) version. That's one of my favorite songs! It has such a 60's feel!

Thanks man. It really was weird. I was cleaning the kitchen and that song just popped in my head. I've never sought it out. I've never had a copy. I know I've heard it before but I don't remember even thinking about it before. It's like my brain just recorded it and gave it back to me unprompted.
That was 2 days ago. I listened to a few versions on YouTube. The casinos version spoke to me the most. Then I worked it up on the wurli that day.
I recorded this today.

I like the Neal McCoy version better because it has a cool guitar solo in it! Real bluesy. If I remember correctly the Casino's version is kind of doo wop!

I'll be checking his out. And yes the casinos is very doo wop.
I'd sure like to see/hear a ton more live performance vids from you! Do you have a version of this song recorded?

Paul, don't have a live version of that yet but it is coming! Jerry's voice cleans up real nice for this song. I play the part you are playing on keyboard (same notes) for the intro. Then a strumming guitar part. When it comes to the solo Randy (bass player) takes the rythem with his foot keys and I play the same solo on the Neal McCoy version note for note. After the bridge part for third verse I play the arppegiated part as per the intro under the vocals. We add a second bridge and 4th verse and end with Chorus in 2 part harmony!
Our next gig is in Vegas on the 9th (private corporate party) We can't even bring our wife's LOL! We are taking some time off for the holidays! doing some rehearsals (adding some more new songs) getting ready to start the new year using some advise I got from folks on here!

Only thing I didn't like was the recording..
Treble down, mid up and bass up...content as usual from Mr. Paul, very cool.

Thanks Cap. There is no eq'ing here. I am just catching the video and audio with a digital picture camera.
