The video was good professional, and you're a
good singer. The song I didn't care for, hire you
some musician's to back you up, you'll sound better.
What do I know, maybe that computer phony music
is what is in today. I'm an old guy and I like screaming
guitars, thundering bass, and pounding drums, not
computer generated perfection, there's got to be something
said for the sound us imperfect humans get out of our
instruments.

Best Wishes

Dance music isn't my favorite genre either, but you're completely missing the point here Lynard.

The trick to judging/reviewing anything is first understanding the intention of the artist and THEN deciding how close the author got to achieving that intention. This clearly isn't rock, so to suggest backup singers, etc., is just completely wrong-headed.

This tune is meant to fit into the dance genre. It's meant to be a song that a DJ can spin and manipulate and stretch. And for that intention, it works. And rather well.

Max Dvorkin deserves major props; keep working with him girl. There are plenty of examples in the music industry of such singing/writing tandems being successful - Eurithmics, Frou Frou to name two. I especially loved Frou Frou - Imogen is an awesome composer and singer (and she plays about as many instruments as Prince does)

Good luck with your work!

Wouldn't be the first time I missed the point,
but I wasn't talking about backup singers,
I was talking about real live players?

Klug, she has had OVER 1000 hits on youtube in 24 hrs. I must say she EARNED IT! Now that is technology at its best! This video was posted when I got to work at 6:30am CST. I watched it and could not believe how well produced it is! After watching and being captivated! I thought I am going to check out other video's she has and see if there is any substance! I came across a video of her playing guitar and singing! I would have to say that you could go to many open mike nights and find folks with her talent. IMO you would be hard pressed to find a musician and yes its official thats what she qualifies as. That can fit the bill as actress, dancer, and STAR! IMO she is the REAL DEAL!

My point was that she is good for today.
With probably no knoledge of our era of music.
They don't know how good Simon & Garfunkel are.
They never heard of Country Joe & The Fish.
"Atlantis" or "I'm Your Captain". (Donavan-Grand Funk)

The songs were written with changing melodies and tempos inside each song.
Elavating and changing moods and words you can hear and understand WOW!
What a concept.

I'm not seeing what everyone else here is. There are some visual elements that are interesting. But I don't think the song is that good. I've gave a couple of listens and it sounds like 80-90's Euro dance muzak to me.
Good Luck to you.
